Spent two nights here for Northern Maine Fair. Great room, good service, Best breakfast in town. The omelets were perfect. We plan on coming back next year
First rate hotel. Spacious, comfortable rooms. Great bar, and good enough food from the diner on the other side of the lobby. Super friendly. This hotel's a gem. Not something you often find in a smaller town. A+
Sort of ok. The interior isn't new, but ok. Our reservation was from Tuesday through Saturday in mid-October 2017. They put us in the back annex "because it would be quieter". The hotel is on the main drag, so we figured they knew. Turns out we couldn't open our drapes for light during the day, without giving up privacy since the window looked out at the parking...meaning there were parking spots right at window level. (If we could reach out the window we could touch the cars.) The room was dark so our afternoons in the room were a little dreary. Finally, we checked out a day early, (and because our reservations were made online we had to pay a $25 cancellation fee) and booked at a bright sunny B&B.
