This is a great place to lay your head down and get some rest. Quiet. Comfy beds. Great water pressure. The people are very friendly and the rooms are clean. It isn't as fancy as other hotels but you can't beat the price. They also have truck parking and a guest laundry room.
Was in town to visit family over Labor day week, however hurricane Irma extended our visit an extra week. The staff was wonderful and Gary was very accommodating.
The staff was pleasant, but the tolerance of late night drinking outside and staff members smoking right outside the main entrance voided any niceties. I had no screen on my window, there was an extreme odor and the stairs up to the second floor were incredibly dirty. The "healthy breakfast" was maybe healthy for some, and if your on a serious budget it's pretty good, but otherwise is just a giant carb fest.
Thank you Gary and staff for everything.
I loved the stay rooms were very clean and tidy. desk workers were very friendly. I loved how they had little contiental breakfast set up at 5 am for the early risers with coffee. On top of being the cheapest place in town. I loved my stay 100% . I want to give a big thanks to the Night desk worker that was on shift during my stay i believe her name was Bonnie. She was so friendly and funny and helped me out with little things in town were things were. What was the fastest and easiest way to limestone. Since i had just moved up from New jersey. She also Greeting everyone that come into the breakfast area. I will stay here again in the future . I hope all of you to do the same
I was forced to stay here while on a work weekend. Upon arrival we were greeted by a small group of construction workers sitting outside the main entrance drinking beer and smoking cigarettes. As we entered the lobby we were greeted by a staff member with a serious respiratory sickness. I also noticed the wall of sun burned DVD's which I took to be the "in room movies" listed in the amenities . I could go on but I won't. I've worked in many hotels and Inns before my current profession and I know there are ways to make any place look and feel nice.
Great stay in Jacuzzi room! Much needed night away from home! Staff was Great! Gary and Bella are the sweetest!
I guess the point comes down to this: don't make excuses. Walk around and really look at your establishment. Ask someone neutral to walk with you and tell you what could be improved. I'm not wrong here. This was my experience so please don't take it the wrong way. I didn't feel safe and that above everything else is the biggest issue.
All in all a good experience and would recommend for a night or extended stay.
