This groomer did fine with my dog, the cut was good, however, her people skills has much to be desired. I was told that my dog had fleas yet, I have checked both our dogs for fleas with no signs of them. She then proceeded to look at me and talk to me as if I were beneath her. When I had told her that we have not seen any signs of fleas with either of our dos or in our house and She rolled her eyes at me as if to indicate she thought I was lying to her and that I didn't know anything. I will never take my animals there again! Regardless of how well she treats my animals, there is no need to be disrespectful to myself or anyone else!
The groomer accused my toothless sheltie of biting her. She did an awful job, I'll post a picture. I chose her because she's close, but I'd rather go down to Bangor and get the job done correctly. I wouldn't recommend her.
I have a Shelty, Rowdy, who can be nippy, but this groomer is very patient and I can tell, loves their job and the dogs. My dog had to have his rear shaved because I was neglectful and didn't keep the undercoat brushed out so it got matted. But, once this caring groomer showed me how to maintain it, between frequent groomings at the shop, never had to be shaved again. I have a lot of friends/co-workers and family whose dogs have been groomed at Clippity Do Dog, for years and I highly recommend! Not all people can be pleased but I am!
