  I had to pay over $600 extra on regular duty fees after purchasing my dress from Panscofars because my dress was made in China. When discussing duty fees at the store during my appointment, it was made clear that regular US --> Canada duty fees would apply (which is what we were expecting to pay). During my appointment, we received excellent service and the ladies working went "above and beyond" (I'll save those details for another day..) just to get the sale done. My family and I have purchased many wedding, bridesmaid and prom dresses from Panscofars and always received great service. I was a returning customer looking to support a great business. Unfortunately, now the unexpected extra duty costs has completely blown my budget and the staff at Panscofars has refused to do anything about it to try and help with the unexpected costs. I am left with absolutely no room in my budget for the alterations that are yet to be done or my dream floor-length veil that I so badly wanted for my wedding day. Panscofars has refused to help in any way such as helping with the cost of the alterations or selling me a used or discounted veil. My dream wedding dress is now for sale in the hopes that I can maybe make enough money to afford a small white sundress for my wedding day that doesn't need alterations. My heart is completely broken and I couldn't be any more disappointed and saddened by the lack of empathy and customer service received during this experience for such a special day. I don't wish this on any bride
