Great food! LARGE piece of Pumpkin Cream Cheese cake. We shared one piece and between the two of us couldn't finish it! Always like the local decor displaying our great home state!
Mostly fried food dishes. Not bad but, truck stop type food. Often difficult to get in and out of the parking lot. Bright dining lights and no sense of intimacy, but that's not the type of place they try to be. As a typical diner, however, it is satisfying.
Governor's is a cozy Maine-owned restaurant with friendly wait-staff, great atmosphere, and good food. I personally don't enjoy their crinkle cut fries unless smothered with gravy and cheese, however I know they're popular. I come here weekly with my mother for their delicious seafood and great sliders. Nice place altogether. Bring the kids!
Very friendly staff.. Seating was fast.. Food was pretty decent with price. Only complaint was the mozzarella sticks.. I don't know what breading they use, but it was a bit salty. Other than that everything and everyone was awesome!
Visiting from Florida, and I must say the Haddock chowder was great! I can't eat lobster, so the roll was a no go for me, but a thumbs up was given by my fiance. Haha. It looked SO good though. The ladies at the counter were very nice and welcoming. Great comforting homey atmosphere as well.
